LETTER OF INFORMATION
Frequent holidays and unexpected closures of school cause immense loss to our students. The Faculty of DPS Budgam has resolved to initiate a process through which unhampered academic delivery may be possible. In this context, we have decided to deliver lessons via the internet on those days when circumstances force us to shut the school.
Our plan is to use Instagram or another application to live stream lessons according to a timetable that will be specifically created for days when school is non-functional. Teachers will deliver the lecture and students sitting at home can listen to whatever the teacher is teaching. Students can send their questions to the teachers using the comments section of the application.
To initiate the process, a few trials will be conducted. After we learn from these trials, we will mainstream the process for the entire school.
For the first trial, the following procedure is proposed. In this trial, only class 5 Students will participate.
Please follow the instructions that govern this action and let’s hope for good outcomes.

I hope you will appreciate the importance of this trial and what we are trying to do at DPS Budgam. Our goal is to teach a full academic session. To the extent parents and technology cooperate, we think this initiative could work. We are hopeful that if our efforts succeed, other schools in Kashmir may also take this idea up and many more Kashmiri children may benefit.
I am looking forward to some very positive results and your active cooperation.
